When in college, one
is considered as a young adult and there is unlimited freedom to do
anything that the individual student feels like doing. This sudden
sense of unlimited freedom without boundaries and without anyone to
tell them what to do has many negative effects. Many students tend to
fall into bad company and indulge in activities that they would not
have otherwise indulged when they were under supervision.
There are
increased levels of immorality and drug and substance abuse alcohol
being one major factor. The freedom and the availability of these
anti social factors is a key as to why there are many college
dropouts. Even if some students complete school, they will have
learnt nothing as they were always been missing classes and cheating
