Loisel refused to attend the party because she has no dress to wear. 2. Mme. Loisel borrowed a diamond necklace from her friend Mme. Forestier. 3. Mme. Loisel was admired by everyone in the party. 4. She lost the necklace. 5. They decided to replace the necklace. 6. They worked hard to fix their debts. 7. Mme. Loisel found out that the necklace she borrowed was a paste.
