Organizations today continue to look for the return they are acquiring from their inducings, benefits, and even base pay. Compensation is often a comp anys largest controllable expense. A total rewards or benefits computer software is what resources employers have to brook to current, and potential future employees. The premise of any strategic opinion is that if managers align pay decisions with organizations strategy and values, are responsive to employees and amalgamation relations, and are globally competitive, the organization is more likely to fulfill competitive advantage. The purpose of this paper is discuss how employment laws may affect attempts to build a total rewards program that increases employee motif and productivity. I will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages from the employers perspective in providing a total rewards program.
Most adults devote the majority of their argus-eyed weekday and often weekends to work. Proportionally, this is greater devotion of prison term and energy than to any other single waking human activity. For this reason alone, we privy assume work is important to people. Many Americans work to both obtain or to maintain the American dream of owning a car, owning a home, a white picket fence and luxuries.



The marrow behind work is not just for money unless to take a sense of pride in the benefits package the organization provides.
