AAPCA Sends Help to Typhoon Sendong Victims
through the initiative of Merilyn Gonzales Bunyi, (Class 73) PCA alumni and volunteers from Manila Adventist Medical Center (MAMC) Church and Adventist union Services (ACS) sorted and shipped a total of 67 shipment boxes on December 26, 2011 to the victims of typhoon Sendong in Mindanao. A total of 660 families genuine clothing, food and other goods: 410 - Illigan City; 190 - Cagayan De Oro; and 60 in Manticao. AAPCA also sent $2,000 cash (profits from the pumpkin roll sale) to Merilyn allowing her to deal 600 blankets, mats (banig) and slippers for the victims.
