In Romeo and Juliet, point is used copiously. Foreshadowing means to present an extension or suggestion beforehand. Many writers use this technique of theme because it adds so much more meaning to a novel. Shakespeare uses foreshadowing to keep the audience from becoming too upset by the tragic outcome.
These violent delights have violent ends/And in their satisfaction die, like fire and powder,/Which, as they kiss,consume. (II.vi.

When Juliet and Romeo are discussing plans Juliet says, O God, I have an ill-divining soul! / Methinks I see thee, now universal gravitational constant art so low, / As one dead in the bottom of the tomb(lll,v,54-57). Juliet has mixed feelings about the arrangement devised by the Friar so that the two of them can be together. Juliet thinks incident will come of previous tactics developed to ply Romeo and her to be together.
Balthasar sees Juliets body go into the tomb. He runs and tells this to Romeo, Her body sleeps in Capels monument,/ And her immortal with angels lives. (V.i.18-19) At first Romeo didnt believe him. But, when he went to go check and see if it was true, he was shocked. The love of his life lay there sound asleep. She literally was sleep; he didnt know. He had some toxicant with him and drunk it. After hed drunken the poison Juliet awakes. Stunned, she decides she can no longer live and kills herself. Then Balthasars talking to become more than what they were meant.
